Installation Instructions
XBinder v1.1.9 for Windows is packaged as a
self-extracting setup executable file (xbv119w32evl.exe). After
downloading, simply double-click on the filename to execute the setup program
and follow the instructions.
For Linux or UNIX, XBinder is packaged in a gzipped
.tar file (.tar.gz). To install, do the following:
- Unzip (gunzip xbv119<os>.tar.gz)
- Untar (tar xvf xbv119<os>.tar)
- The program is now available in the xbv119
subdirectory. Go to that directory and read the README.html or README.txt file
for further information.
Note: in the steps above, <os> refers to the
operating system code for the package you downloaded (for example, sol8 for
Solaris).
