Installation Instructions
XBinder v130 for Windows is packaged as a self-extracting setup executable file (xbv130w32evl.exe). After downloading, simply double-click on the filename to execute the setup program and follow the instructions.
For Linux or UNIX, XBinder is packaged in a gzipped .tar file (.tar.gz). To install, do the following:
- Unzip (gunzip xbv130<os>.tar.gz)
- Untar (tar xvf xbv130<os>.tar)
- The program is now available in the xbv130 subdirectory. Go to that directory and read the README.html or README.txt file for further information.
Note: in the steps above, <os> refers to the operating system code for the package you downloaded (for example, solsparc for Solaris).
