Selecting an Element for Editing

To edit an element in an ASN.1 message, do the following:

1. Make sure the message view is element view. ASN.1 messages cannot be edited in tag view. This can be done by clicking on the element view button in the toolbar or using the View menu as described here.

2. Expand the tree view to expose the element you would like to edit as described here.

3. Click on the node. A type-specific editing context windown will then be shown in the edit window area.
