Editing SEQUENCE/SET Fields

The following editing operations may be performed on a SEQUENCE or SET typed value:

• Adding OPTIONAL elements
• Deleting OPTIONAL elements

Adding OPTIONAL elements

If a SEQUENCE or SET type contains optional elements, a dialog box is displayed containing a check box for each optional element:

Optional elements that are not present are shown in the tree view in greyed-out form:

To add an optional element, check its corresponding check box and press Update. The element will then become enabled in the tree view and contain an empty value or the default value if defined in the schema. The node can then be selected and its value edited.

Deleting OPTIONAL elements

An optional element may be deleted by unchecking its corresponding check box in the optional elements edit window and clicking Update.

Alternately, the element can be removed by right clicking on it in the tree view and selecting the Delete menu option:
