Encode Command

The Encode command allows the currently loaded message to be reencoded using different encoding rules. In this release of ASN1VE, conversions to and from BER, BER indefinite length, aligned PER (PER), and unaligned PER (UPER) are supported.

1. Click Encode from the main menu toolbar.

2. The different encoding rule options are displayed:

3. Selecting any option will cause the message to be reencoded using the selected format. The current set of encoding rules in effect will be shown as a checked item on the menu display.
