Saving a Message to an Existing File

To save an edited message file, use the Save Message option.

1. Click the File option from the File Operations toolbar.

2. Select the Save Message option to save a message to an existing file (Ctrl + S for a shortcut):

Note: The Save Message option will only be enabled if the ASN.1 file exists and the file has been modified. This command saves the file back to the file that was opened. The original format of this file is preserved. For example, if a base64 encoded file was opened, it is saved back as base64.
